Boston’s Rozamov is currently seeking label support for a late spring release of their second EP titled « Of Gods and Flesh ». They will be entering the studio in March to record with AJ Peters (Summoner, Riff Cannon, Batillus, Olde Growth) at Q Division Studios in Sommerville, MA.
“Of Gods and Flesh”will showcase Rozamov pushing their unique blend of metal even further; borrowing from Sludge, Doom and HC to create a darker and more aggressive sound than that of their debut EP. The release is to be followed with a short tour in July.
A bit of history for those who discover the band : Rozamov was created in the fall of 2011 by guitarists Matt Lacovelli and Liz Walshak, bassist Tom Corino (who share the vocals with Matt) and drummer Will Hendrix. The band recorded their debut self-titled EP at Black Coffee Sound with producer Clay Neely (Black Pyramid, Elder) in February of 2012. The EP was self released in March of 2012 for free download, which created a buzz in the doom and sludge blogosphere. The band has been playing relentlessly in the Northeast in support of the EP and has shared bills with Pilgrim, Black Pyramid, Elder, Razormaze, Summoner, Cortez, The Confrontation Sea of Bones….
